I can’t believe how quickly this time has gone by! In just 40 days (more or less) we will be welcoming Baby into our family. We were hoping Nancy would be able to come at the end of May to do maternity photos for us, but with the uncertainty surrounding when travel will open and several cancelled flights, we had a fellow military spouse do some photos for us a couple of weeks ago. I am so happy with how they turned out, and it feels really special that we will have these photos from the beginning of our time in Italy!

The beautiful Church behind us here is Basilica di S. Maria di Monte Berico (Sanctuary of Saint Mary of Monte Berico), which I’ve mentioned here many times. The rest of the photos were taken in a field below the lookout point in front of the Church that looks over the city. It was a perfect evening to be up there while the sun set.
I also have to give a special thank you to my cousin Abbey for hosting a virtual baby shower for us last weekend. I haven’t seen most of my extended family for about a year and a half, so it was so nice to see our moms, sisters, my aunts and cousins, and family friends virtually together and celebrate! Abbey took advantage of her virtual teaching skills she’s learned over the last year to be able to play some fun games and share baby predictions and advice over Zoom. 😊 We have been so spoiled with gifts for baby from all of our family and friends and we could not be more grateful for the support we have received from you all while being thousands of miles from home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
