Hi there. I’m Hannah

I started writing here to share our family’s adventures as we packed up our home and moved to Italy with the military. I have always craved a creative outlet and hope to use this space to document our travels and life in a new country.

For a bit of background, in 2017 I picked up my Midwest roots and moved to the Pacific Northwest where I spent three years with my now-husband (Michael) working as an accountant in Seattle. We married in December 2019 and a few months later made a cross-country trek to Georgia for a quick stint in the South. We are headed to Italy in January 2021 where we will spend the next few years learning a new culture and traveling the world!

A little more about me: I am working toward a masters degree in elementary education. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I make to-do lists for my to-do lists, disappoint myself every day that I am still not a morning person, love to entertain, and set aside every responsibility when I get lost in a good book.
